Some plastic caps and closures have detailed threads which cannot be ejected using bump-off methods. When these parts are molded they must be unscrewed from the mold to avoid thread damage. In order to be cost-effective, however, the molds need to move at high speeds to clear molded parts quickly and move on to the next cycle.
StackTeck has developed techniques to make the molding company more productive
by utilizing robust carriage assemblies , bearing supported cores, and integral gear/core designs to maximize the performance of unscrewing molds.
