Bump-off molds are the simplest closure molds built by
StackTeck. This technology is used to produce plastics
caps and lids, or any plastic part, with internal
undercuts requiring the need of a mechanical push to
eject the part from the core. In many cases, a clean
ejection of the part will sometimes require multiple
ejection stages to clear the part from the core without
damaging internal undercuts on the part.
Bump-off mold designs concentrate on achieving the best
cooling possible through the use of multiple inserts,
special materials, and internally balanced water
manifold lines.
Bump-off technology can be married to multiple level
stack molds, multi-material, and QPC technologies
allowing a wider spectrum of injection mold solutions.
